Going green means more green for your other bills. Green efforts save the environment and money. When you minimize your use of electricity, you are also protecting the environment. There are hundreds of little ways to save money while you show greater consideration to the natural world around you.
One little tip - never use the whole dryer sheet. I know there are environmentally sound ways to make your own dryer sheets but I haven't evolved that much yet. I tear the dryer sheets in half and reuse each half. By doing this, I get four loads of laundry out of one dryer sheet. That equals significant savings to the environment and my budget.
